Cunina wants to leave a lasting impression in the places where they are active. The goal of our projects is to help the local community become independent and self-reliant. As a partner, you are not just a sponsor but also the driving force behind the realization of the project.

What is the ‘Loving Home’?

‘Loving Home’ is a hostel and a school for children with mental or physical disabilities. They have created their own band called ‘Rondalla On Wheels’ to express their musical talent.

Why has Cunina started this project?

Cunina supports the project by donating €1,000 on an annual basis.

We work together with the local community and use local materials to support the local economy, create jobs and provide even more children with education.

Why does Cunina operate in the Philippines?

The quality of education in the Philippines is often very poor, because the government budget for education is very limited. The school buildings are either too small or in a bad condition. Some cities or towns in the Philippines do not even have a school. A blackboard and chalk are the most important teaching materials, because there are (almost) no books available.

Cunina operates in Manila, Cebu, Bayombong and Balamban.

Cunina projects in the Philippines

Cunina has been operating in the Philippines since 1992. Since then, a lot of projects have been realized, however we are only focusing on child sponsorships at the moment. We are currently considering which new projects we want to start.
