I became a bookkeeper thanks to my parents and Cunina.

“I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth. My parents had to work hard to be able to take care of us. They worked hard for every peso. I promised myself that I would pay for a part of my brothers and sisters education. In order to do this, I had to graduate.

Dreams do come true

My dream started to come true when I learned the alphabet and learned to count to three for the first time. My parents were my first teachers. Their love gives me strength. They support me no matter what. They helped me develop my talents in primary school and allowed me to participate in academic contests.

My dream grew when I became a Cunina godchild, because of this I was able to go to one of the best schools in our province. Cunina was my second family that believed in me and supported me. It was not easy, but I was determined to finish my education.

Belief & confidence

My parents and godparents believed in me and this gave me confidence. After four years in secondary school and five years at university, I now work as a bookkeeper in one of the best-known accounting firms of the Philippines.

I was able to make my dream come true thanks to the support of my parents, my family, Cunina and my Cunina godparents. I am very grateful to them.

Recognize your own qualities

Every person has admirable qualities. We just have to recognize them and use them to make our dreams come true. We should stay focused, have faith and, even more important, have love and belief. Do not give up! You will definitely find the road to success!”
