Since the beginning of my foster motherhood in 1993, I have seen Cunina grow and seen people become convinced of our good cause, try to get some attention for our work. I think that after all those years, Cunina can present a brilliant balance sheet, and can be proud of all its realisations. Shortly, we have been recognised as an NGO by the Ministery of Developmental Cooperation and that does mean that we’re doing great.

All encouragements, a child’s grateful smile, give us even more than ever the courage to go on and to make sure more people get to know Cunina. That way we can help even more people and children especially.

Individuals

If you, like so many others, want to contribute, you can do so in many ways.
You can either become a foster parent of a personal foster child, or you can financially support one of our projects.
Maybe you have some spare time and you would like to spend it efficiently with a group of nice people who work together for a better world. Then you can become a volunteer. We at Cunina are already looking forward to get to know you.

Associations & Schools

Just like many others, you can become a joint foster parent of a personal foster child.
It is important that you appoint 1 person who takes up the foster parenthood in the name of the association or school… all correspondence will go through that person as well.
You can also support one of our projects financially.

If you want to organise an original action for the benefit of our projects, we are prepared to set up a concept together with you, based on the materials we have at our disposal. Please contact the Cunina office.014/58.01.01 (info@cunina.org)

Companies

If you are an entrepeneur who is aware of the social role he/she has to fulfil in our society and who wants to express it through a cooperation with Cunina, you can do so in many ways.
In the first place there is of course the standard sponsorship.
Secondly, you can also make your company known by organising an original action. Below some examples of companies who supported Cunina projects through special actions.

Examples:

  • Princess gave 1 Euro to Cunina for each Nova-household device that was sold in a Makro store.
  • Accenture had 5000 wish cards made in the Cunina paper project in Nepal, the profits were used to furnish the Cunina hostel in Nepal.
  • BP employees organised a grand benefit evening and BP bought out almost the entire concert for its employees’ staff party.
  • Profile Tyre Center had 8 houses built in the Cunina Village in the Philippines.
  • Rolvaplast celebrated its 25th anniversary and asked the guests to donate money to Cunina instead of bringing gifts and flowers. The guests obtained a fiscal certificate as from 30 Euro.
