Cunina is organising "familiarisation trips" to Nepal for 2013. If you are interested in joining the group, please send an email to kathleen@cunina.org

In order to be eligible, you need to have been a foster parent for at least five years and this must be the first time that you go on a country trip to Nepal.

On 11th September 2010 Cunina began its 20th anniversary celebrations with a muscial performance in Geel and a look back at the numerous achievements of the past 20 years. On the 4th November 2011, Cunina closed these celebrations with a finale in Bruges and a look ahead to the future.

On 1st September 2011, Aerts Ltd. launched its Salt & Pepper brand in Geel, Belgium together with a campaign for Cunina.
For one year, all Salt & Pepper piggy banks from the OINK! collection sold across its 150 outlets in Belgium, will raise money for Cunina.

Stephanie passed away on April 16^th2011 aged only twenty. Like a ray of sunlight spreading warmth and love, her dream was to do more for underprivileged children around the world.

I have been involved as an ambassador for NGO Cunina for two years. Cunina is a small-scale Flemish organisation which aims to make education available to under-privileged children by means of foster parenting. I have myself been the foster parent of a little girl in the Philippines for years.

Unfortunately there are a lot of children in Haiti, which does not get the chance to do so, because their parents cannot pay the tuition fees to get their kids in school.
