Who are the CUNINA foster children?

The selection of CUNINA foster children is based on a couple of determined criteria: poor and big families receive absolute prioritity, but we do expect the family needs to have some form of income since the foster care contribution is not a replacement for the family income. The parents should show the ambition to send their children to school and the will to collaborate with the CUNINA program. Regular presence in class is an absolute condition and is controlled at regular intervals. CUNINA does not dispense handouts. Every foster child and his or her family is supposed to cooperate in an active way for a better future. The children don't have a future without proper education but if the children appear to attend class irregularly or not at all, the foster care might be halted.
