Projects: Philippines
In the Philippines, the infrastructure for state education is often poor and the quality of education is low, owing to the government’s limited education budget.
School buildings are too small, run-down or sometimes completely non-existent. The only available teaching equipment is a blackboard, as books are scarce and class rooms are overcrowded.
Education opportunities for mentally or physically disabled children are practically non-existent.
